THE VENCER SARTHE MEETS ITS PROVING GROUNDS AT THE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF LE MANS
Vencer is proud to be present at the most famous endurance race of the world; the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2013 that takes place this week.
As unveiled by Prince Albert II of Monaco at Top Marques exhibition in Monaco last April, the Vencer Sarthe will now make its debut at the Le Mans Drivers Parade tomorrow. Marked by the quest for performance and sportsmanship, the 90th anniversary of the race is the obvious occasion for the Vencer Sarthe to meet its proving grounds.
The Vencer Sarthe is named after the circuit ”la Sarthe” and the details incorporated into the car are a subtle tribute to the sports cars from the Le Mans era in the 80’s. The combination of iconic lines of the 80’s race cars together with a durable high performance engine, aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight construction of today provide an impressive driving experience and lets the driver become one with the road. According to Mr. Cobben:
“With the majority of the track spent on full throttle, the Sarthe reaches a top speed of 326 km/h before the end of Mulsanne straight, where the 385 mm discs with 8-piston front/ 6 piston-rear brake calipers slow the 1390 kilogram car down in only a short distance. Through Indianapolis, the double wishbone suspension and 245/35/19 front and 295/30/20 rear tires prove exceptional cornering abilities. Out of Maison Blanche, the 510 BHP and 650 Nm of torque from the 6.2 liter V8 engine, distributed through a 6-speed manual box with limited slip differential, will launch the driver to the finish.”
The new and exclusive Dutch mid-engined sports car is the result of years of extensive development and collaboration with high-end automotive suppliers and is built by a dedicated and passionate team who went the extra mile. As a result of this route Vencer has achieved to manufacture a distinctive, high quality, light and pure drivers car.
We are looking forward to meet you at the 24 Hours Driver’s Parade!
